What can be worse than family politics?

We are all bonded by blood but sometimes I feel that they are not much different from strangers. I don’t understand them well or I don’t communicate with them. I only get to see them like once a year or sometime not even once.
I don’t see we are anywhere near a happy family as how outsider view us as. What I can see was, everyone backstabbing each other , gossiping about each other, being selfish and all. All these years I pretend that I don’t know a thing but somehow as I grow up they will just get me involve into it. I felt awful whenever I can’t speak from the bottom of my heart. Even a casual conversation, I must be very careful with my words and what I said. It really makes me wonder if we’re a family.
Recently, I really miss the times whereby ah gong was alive. What I saw and sense was a family which was in peace and harmony. Even a family gathering is almost impossible when it’s perfectly normal for other families.
Money can really change a person that’s what I learn all these years. I had seen too much of the ugly side of this world. back to top?
